Young Sommeliers Competition Benefit Night
Leven House Petersham, 21 March 2018
We are pleased to advise that by request we will be holding a Young Sommeliers Competition benefit night again this year.
The aims of the night are twofold – good food and wine served with Chaine conviviality with proceeds of the night directed to assist in us hosting our young sommeliers competition. (Did we tell you that Mikael Grou, our candidate for last year, achieved Silver at the International competition in Budapest?)
The theme for this year will be ‘Essentially French’.
As in past years you will be invited to identify the spirits and wines served in the blind tastings held at the Australian National finals of the 2017 competition, and, yes the beautiful Chaine Saber will be brought out of the vault for the Sabrage spectacular. There will be prizes.
John and Dennis will be our hosts on the night and John will be slaving in the kitchen again while Dennis will be responsible for ensuring you are well provided with wine. Jim and Nic will be our front of House.
As this is a sit down function places are limited so please book early.
