I am delighted to invite you and your guests to attend a very special culinary evening,

sampling traditional Scottish fare and modern Australian paired with the finest Scottish and Australian Whiskies,

co-hosted by La Chaine des Rotisseurs Baillage NSW and The Keepers of the Quaich Australia

and supported by Mr Ken Bromfield and Mr Doug van Tienen of Australia Whisky Live.

An exclusive evening themed ‘Whisky Worlds’ which will spark your gastronomic curiosity.

As the sun sets over The Cortile, you will sample Whisky Mixology with Cocktails created and hand crafted for the occasion, perfectly paired with distinctive canapes which are deeply rooted in Scotland and interpreted in Australia. In the background you may enjoy the tunes of the bagpipe performed by Pipe Major Bill Campbell.

Your culinary experience will continue over a five course menu paired with the finest Scottish and Australian Whiskies served in the heritage filled Bridge Room. Maitre Rotisseur Stephen Lech will showcase his passion for modern Australian with Fremantle Octopus and Australian Wagyu and reverse back to some fabulous Scottish fair like Atlantic King Salmon and the mysterious Haggis with its traditional condiments.

During the evening you will experience the diverse flavors of various Scottish and Australian Whiskies matched with food which will provide you with a heightened taste experience. On the night Doug and Ken will guide you through each dish and paired whisky in discovering new and exciting tastes and it will provide an opportunity to discuss this new culinary experience.  Unlike tradition, wines are served to match the food.

Also, you will witness the ‘Address to a Haggis’ as created by Robert Burns in his poem in 1787 – this theatrical experience with piping, stabbing, smelling and tasting undoubtedly will be one of the highlights of the evening.
