In our first Ordre Mondial des Gourmets Dégustateurs (OMGD) event for 2018, La Chaine Members will enjoy a truly memorable evening as they are guided through a unique gin blending masterclass and create their own gin!

Archie Rose Distilling Co is a team of passionate New World distillers who established the first independent distillery in Sydney in over 150 years in 2015.

Your Experience

Archie Rose Distilling Co are excited to welcome La Chaine Members and their guests to this unique three part experience –

Explore: We will commence with a tour of the Distillery and a tasting of four Archie Rose Gins.

Learn: Following our tour, Members and guests will be welcomed by Archie Rose Distlling Co’s gin blending expert where they will learn the history of gin while enjoying an Archie Rose Signature Gin & Tonic.

Blend: Our expert blender will introduce you to the individual botanical distillates one by one, and then assist as you blend them into an original signature gin. Members and their guests will create two 200ml flasks of their very own signature blend gin to take home and enjoy. Tasting plates will also be served.

Additionally, Archie Rose Distilling Co. will also offer our Members a discount off their first purchase of any Archie Rose product during the evening.

This is simply an experience not to be missed!

About the Ordre Mondial des Gourmets Dégustateurs (OMGD) 

The OMGD (often referred to as “Mondial”) is a specific section of La Chaîne des Rôtisseurs. It specialises in and concentrates on crafted beverages.

Put simply, regular Chaîne functions are particularly focussed on fine food, beverages are served to complement the food. By contrast, OMGD functions will focus on and emphasise the crafted beverages themselves – including fine wines, quality spirits, cocktails, beers and cider – pairing them with appropriate food dishes where applicable.

Membership of the OMGD is an option open to any active member of La Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.
